I think he made the right call. It's a tough call but like itxtme says - who would you remove to make way for Dagg?

itxtme: Barret plays first-five or full back Fekitoa can play both center positions and has been used on the wing before.  Who would you have removed?  Hansen does prefer the 5/3 forwards/backs split, most teams use a 4/4.

Yah it's a hard call I agree, though to be fair Dagg can cover Wing as well. Dagg isn't a bad place kicker.

But he cant cover center, so you are left with a gap.  The only real option to include Dagg was to drop Corey Jane, put Ben on the wing and Dagg at full back.  In all honesty this is what I thought was going to happen.  I actually prefer this team, Dagg has been a bit hot and cold as of late, not to say if he gets his form back he shouldnt be considered.  I am really looking forward to Saturday, have been all week :D

We live for Rugby in our house, my 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter have been talking about it since the Crusaders Final.

Bring on Saturday! If it snows and we watch a good game it would be bliss.

Good game being the key word

I think its pretty hard to make a case that the selected team wasn't picked on merit. Maybe my recollection is wrong but I thought Corey Jane was freakishly good last time he played vs England - he left his opposite grasping at air a couple of times and made 1-2m along the sideline look like acres. I don't think he scored any tries but he was involved in 2 or 3 movements leading up to tries I think.

Now that conrad has pulled out I can't help but think of one SBW

How is his defense? Can he cover 12 and 13?

And how come he gets special treatment? The rugby powers are taking about him joining the test squad once he's done with the roosters ... what? No need to play ITM or super rugby?!

He didn't really do that last time. His time at the Crusaders was enough.

/shrugs other than learning the set peices and working with the team to get a rhythm I don't see any reason why not? He has played Rugby Union before, and understands the AB's environment.

I heard maybe Conrad Smith is looking to get back to Australia for the test. I feel like twacking him over the ears. Someone needs to to remind him of priorities. You never get that time back, he should stay with his wife :)

As a parent, I have an understanding now of things I didn't understand even 30 minutes after my Son was born.

I hope he has some people around him to give him the support and advice he clearly needs!
