They are really the only team I seriously think stand a chance on this tour, but I hate saying stuff like that, because who knows.

We will have our A team for them, it should be a comfortable win, I am going to predict 20 points margin

I think England will be a bigger challenge than Wales. Wales fans like to believe the hype they create themselves, thinking that being the 6 nations champions actually means anything when playing teams from down south. The ABs shoud have there #1 team on the field and should dominate them all over the park. Wales will have to seriously lift there game to even stay within 20. But anything can happen in a game of rugby, we have seen that even the ABs can have an off day.

Yup England are probably a decent threat we haven't played them for a while. At least the timing of this game is reasonable.

I still think Wales is our biggest threat. They are the only northern hemisphere team that can keep up with the pace that the ABs play.

Is it just me or do "Britain's leading rugby writers" take the whole "whinging pom" stereotype to a whole new level?

Adam Thomson's test career might be ended by the judiciary after all with news that the IRB will officially review his one week suspension for trampling.
...
The soap opera began when number of Britain's leading rugby writers began tweeting their displeasure at the perceived leniency of the sentence.

Anybody who's watched it should know that while it was an incredibly stupid thing to do there was very obviously no malice at all.

Yah, I think he got off lightly, but no more lightly than the idiot who jumped across the ruck and smashed into RM with a forearm (with full intent and no repentance since). Where was the IRB and their stupid appeals then?

If probably beating Wales by 40 points they are the biggest threat on this tour for NZ, I'm not too worried. Losing to Samoa and Argentina has their morale at a low going by all reports and they are getting bagged by the Welsh public and media..

Sounds like good motivation for them. I would not be surprised if they pulled together and put in a good performance.

And you know everyone brings their A-game when they play the AB's.

I can't recall what the deal with the AB's winning record is. I presume they measure most wins vs least losses differently? Is this team the most successful team ever still or did the draw in Australia stop them from reaching it?

The world record for the longest winning streak stands at 18 by Lithuania. The draw against the Wallabies stopped them at 16 wins

Well it's been ended now. Hard to believe that was the same All Blacks team from the last few months, something definitely wasn't right. England played really well, but they still will have had lost if we had even played a reasonable amount better. I don't think I can recall anyone falling off tackles like that for the longest time. I felt for them. They are still my heros of course! I hope they get a decent break.

Hard to believe that John Kirwan hasn't lost patience with Skipper Ali Williams. For 3 weeks straight he has nearly cost his team the game and his penalty count (including those he gets away with) would worry me if I was coach. He needs a couple of weeks or so off to think about his game. Beggars belief that they blew a half time lead like that.

Same with the Chiefs, they are definitely not the same as last years team, they seem lost.

I'm pretty happy with how the Blues are tracking this year. Ali has always been a bit of a penalty magnet, but I think the leadership he is providing outweighs the penalties he gives away. I can see Sir Grahams influence in their defense as well (although they let far too much in on Saturday).

On the whole, they are relatively young and inexperienced, and the post-season may find them out when they come up against the Aussies and South Africans in playoff football, but much better than last year.

I was pleased the Highlanders put the Blues to the sword, they would have headed down south expecting a walk over run away victory. Nice to see the Highlanders back in some form of form. Sad they didn't hold it for the second half, but still. Ali Williams has to go, surely? His big mouth has been the most active thing from the Blues for weeks. Perhaps sleep deprivation is the cause, but he was so obnoxious during that match. I can't imagine what went on in that changing room at half time or full time, Surely JK couldn't have screamed much more than the previous week!

WOW what an emphatic superb amazing performance from the All Blacks tonight. I don't think you could fault anyone in a black jersey tonight and Izzy really looked awesome too which was nice to see.

Outstanding! Well done the AB's!
