Discipline in general is the biggest concern for me. It *has* improved, but could still be better.

The game against SA was pretty much what I want.

just saying, but it only takes 10-ish hours to Fly everyone to Eden park for ENG vs FRA and SCO vs JPN :D

sold out is guaranteed.

There was mention of Oita which is covered and not as close. There will be options to fit them in, even if not the exact same day. It will be ridiculous to decide an outcome by having some sides not having as many pool games

Yup, coming into the 'match a week' part of the tournament playing one game less than some of your opponents gives you a massive advantage in terms of resting players and general fatigue.

Apparently AB's vs Italy is to be cancelled as well.

That's disappointing to say the least.  Affects our points differential.

The match between Italy and AB's isn't for 3 days, surely they could announce it on the day, or is the field just gonna be a swimming pool?

There is that, there is also SCO, who I gather are gone now, and are/were favoured to beat JPN and get through. ENG, they need a match, fishing out minnows isnt much of a buildup

They need a match, but they also gain from not playing one against a team like France. That's a different proposition to playing another minnow nation. If England avoid playing France but the ABs are still expected to play Italy then you should all brace yourself for a bitch-fest to rival the closing the storm.

On the flip side of not playing Italy, we don't injure players, and give those who have niggly playable injuries more time to get better.

What IS a bigger problem, is no game time for Brodie.

If it's an open ground, the chances of it being able to be used for a few days afterward and not tearing the grass to nothing, isn't exactly low. There are other matches to be played later at these stadiums...

Postponing is almost totally impractical as we are into the knockout rounds next weekend. The only team really affected by the postponement is Scotland. Postponing would put half the teams in a very difficult position for the quarter finals with a very short turnaround.

move everything to following week. easy as

surely this is extraordinary circumstances but imaging this would happen on FIFA world cup., with billions ppl watching.

there should be contingency plan, if there's none (what the hell these guys were thinking) - cancel the game - is not a plan.
