As mentioned before, it all starts at the top, so all these incompetent idiots on the NZRU Board have to be given the boot, and replaced by people that actually know what they're doing.

With the Sky Sport Now app you don't know when the full replay is going to be on... so I'll probably set the alarm & watch it live.

Handle9: Somehow Mark Robinson is making Ian Foster a sympathetic character. I’m sure he’s heard of constructive dismissal. What a clown show, how could he possibly think this wouldn’t leak?

This honestly disgusts me. I was never a fan of Robinson as CEO particularly but I am unsure how it's possible he thought handling this this way was a good idea.

We hardly fired a shot... getting sick & tired of all this dumb/disorganized AB rugby.

Instead of us kicking the ball well out downfield from deep within our own half to exit well, our exiting was hopeless - we'd either kick the ball downfield directly to them, or only just kick it out, allowing them to have a quick throw in... also there was a lack of communication & technique under the high ball, we didn't protect the ball well at the breakdown, and made too many silly mistakes.

Aaron Smith needs to be replaced by Fakatava, also Rieko Ioane doesn't add much in the midfield.

Thought it was unbelievable when Foster said after the match, that this one was probably our best game of the year, what ??? ...talk about desperation to try & save his job, we were outplayed in all areas of the game & made a lot of errors.

And for Foster to come out and say it was the All Blacks best performance of the year just shows how far the AB's have fallen under Foster.

Common sense is not as common as you think.

Glad I didn’t bother getting up to watch the game live. Have just finished watching the recording. It wasn’t as bad as the media portrayed, but then again it wasn’t as rosy as Fozzy made out either. In top flight rugby playing at 95% doesn’t get you there.

It appeared to me that the ABs were simply outmuscled. Of particular note the SBs had two players over the tackled player almost every breakdown, preventing any AB from getting near the ball. Conversely the ABs only achieved that about 30% of the time, so either turned the ball over or gave away a penalty for holding on.

The flashy miracle passes that look great when they come off, have the opposite effect when they go to ground. And that happened quite a bit.

No go-forward from the forwards and a backline that seems disjointed. Havili and Ioane don’t seem to be a good combination. And I’m not sure about Ta’avao and Bower as starting props. The scrum seemed to improve when DeGroot and Lomax came on.

The ABs rely on a high tempo game to wear their opponents out. That doesn’t happen when the officials don’t keep the game moving. The frequent “rest breaks” were a feature of both the Irish series and evident again overnight in the Republic. The best official at resisting the slow down was Wayne Barnes (imo).

Next week at altitude will be interesting.

hard to blame officials. one week it's a red card the next week it's a penalty. one week fast one week start stop. up to the team to play the ref. we've had our run. at one point the ref would always have a yarn with Richie McCaw for a few minutes during the match, you'd think he'd ask for a selfie if he had his phone on him. all while telling Hooper to F off in the same breath.

Unfortunately, I got up to watch it live... definitely won't be doing that for the next one.

How in the hell do you watch that performance and label it our best yet and think the world takes that seriously? That line alone should see him sacked before next weekend,

Not sure what you mean. They were clinical. Went forward happy to run the ball, kicked tactically, made few errors. The scrums were weird, it was like they had 100% control. Casual even. Played the various parts of the game very well, the odd mistake which you will always get in rugby. Nothing flash, but a 9/10 out of everything.  AB's seemed to crack, mistakes, throwing blind passes to thin air, frequent turnovers and penalties. Hard to see how the coaching staff are to blame for those issues.

For those of us that have played competitive sport, you get better when you play teams/players that are better than you. You fade if you play easy beats. We seem to play an inordinate number of games against low tier sides. Yes, its great if you beat Tonga by 100 to 6 but is that the way forward?

That the players played better. Forget the score, look at the sport. If you remove the dropped balls, silly passes to thin air, and recognise that 7-0 is 1-0 in soccer, its not that bad. What I saw was not coachable. Mistakes, penalties, throw passes to invisible men. Thats on the players and the captain (who is the 80 minute coach)

While its a cliche, that the losing side will say, dont forget to compliment a team that played harder, faster, smarter, with less errors. Do that most days you will win most games. Any sport.

Yup I agree. The handling errors and penalties belong to the players. SA played really well, we killed our own game with handling errors, penalties and poor decision-making. We didn't cope at all under the high ball which surprised me, and the number of communication errors was horrible.

This what aggravates me somewhat.

Take Five: Who's to blame for the All Blacks' losing streak and what happens next?

IMO its a rebuild. Not that we lack class players, we dont. Nor coaches. What we lack is playing tough opponents regularly. Admittedly I lost the AB fanboy mentality when we play island sides and low tier sides on a regular basis, and we win big. That doesnt help. RSA now plays northern hemisphere. IRE is No.1 now. Is it a coincidence the IRE beat us, that RSA had a less than stellar series win over Wales who are ranked 8? And then beat us?

In some ways Im glad we lost last night. It should have been a close game score wise. Had we won by 13-12 it would be the AB's are back, then the usual complacency sets in. Im unsure how we can pay better nations more often. Maybe thats why RSA went north? What I do know is that you cannot play mainly easy sides and keep the edge

We keep playing easy teams... like the Irish? The flip side is when we do line up a NH team in the competition window to come down to NZ, they often send a C team. France are serial offenders in this regard.

I said easy teams. Year in and year out, such as the Island nations for example. I recall one year, I think when Richie etc left, and we played the Samoa's Fiji's etc and we hammered them. News said this was the best team ever, which I thought was quite insulting to the retirees. FFW to RWC, run over by ENG, not dissimilar to last weekend where we fought a good team and seemed to run out of ideas. I support playing low tier teams, its good for them, but top tier AB matches are pretty uncommon. Yes there is AUS but they had been in the doldrums for a period. I wonder how much RSA has grown, playing NH teams now.
