Goodhue needs to show he can play more than 3 games in a row. He’s played about 10 games in 2 years, at the moment there’s no way you could take him to a World Cup.

Players that can’t stay fit don’t help, especially now with around 15 games until the World Cup. Moody, ALB, Laulala, Retalick and Coles are in the same camp. Hopefully Whitelock doesn’t join them again but I’m dubious.

Goodhue out again needing surgery on his bung knee after the last surgery didn't address his prior issues. That's a shame.

Retallick is apparently fit to play NPC this week, that is most excellent news.

If he was fit to play the second ARG game and 2 games against Australia, it will be interesting to see what they do with Barrett and if he will spend more time at 6?

I am quietly confident in the new coaching set-up now. No doubt mistakes have been made, but I am pretty sure we should see some solid progress in the coming few months. I think we have some great talent which should develop under the new regime and at least Foster can stop looking at his situation week to week and look at a longer-term strategy. I am excited to see what our new props might be capable of and what our super talented backline can achieve if our forwards can get back to competitive.

I'll be really interested to see who they select against Argentina. Will BB or RM start at 10? Will the same props get a start again? I wonder if they would risk not starting Aaron Smith and give Christie and Fatatava a chance?

As much as I like Jordie for his height and size in defense and goal kicking, I am not sure we need those things as much this week, and having a Full Back (Jordan) on the wing every week probably isn't ideal, I wonder if Jordie is given a rest in favour of Jordan at fullback, and Reece/Clarke/Leister a go at Wing?

Listening to the breakdown, Chelsea Semple was talking about the difference in having full-time professional players this year, and that means higher level of fitness and improvement in development. I never thought of that.

I thought Wayne Smith was pretty harsh in his assessment of the game. I mean he isn't wrong, but seemed a bit of a downer not to make a bigger deal of the progress made.

Ugh. Once players get on the injury treadmill it's hard to get off. It's a shame, he's not that old but durability is as much a part of the game as skill.

I really wish they'd go to someone else other than Ennor. He's been horrible since his injury problems started.

Thought Wayne Smith was spot on, otherwise they won't improve... if you know you're going to win a match pretty comfortably, the only way to get any benefit out of it is to keep your structure & focus, so you don't get too loose by passing too many 50/50 passes etc.

Gives me more confidence that both Schmidt & Ryan will be playing big parts in the team.

I'd definitely be starting Mo'unga at 1st-five, also the same front row again... not starting Aaron Smith isn't a risk, he's well past his best, give Fakatava a crack.

The back 3 are always switching positions during a match, so it's not a big deal whether Jordan plays wing or fullback... only have to look at players like Cullen. Jeff Wilson & Dagg, they looked very comfortable playing at either fullback or wing.

The debate on Mo'unga to start vs BB continues. I believe that despite the fact BB hasn't pressed himself at 10 lately, this is largely due to misfiring forwards. He has proven record at 10 for the AB's. Mo'unga has had some strong performances at 10 but questions remain I think and he is most in need of extra time at 10.

I'll be most interested to see if we can continue our forward's performance from Ellis Park.

Mo'unga should be our first choice 10 from now on, he has good tactical sense, B.Barrett definitely lacks that... I'd expect our forwards to continue to keep on performing well & improve more too.

Mo'unga the saviour finally kicked one.

Not a great start considering he's at home and can do no wrong.

Two missed penalties and a terrible up and under, then a break where he turned the ball over.

Scrum going really well tonight.

Imagine now being so arrogant as to think you had to stick with foster after we lose this. Should be sacked before the press conference.

He did what everyone wanted. Named a bunch of Crusaders and the saviour Mo'unga in Christchurch. Couldn't be beaten.

Crusaders massive fail tonight at home.

I wonder what the Mo'unga fans will use as an excuse after tonight? I know this would all be Beauden Barrett's fault if he was playing.

Still, game not over yet. Time for a miracle?

After this disgrace anyone that still thinks Foster is the right man for the job shouldn’t have their opinion taken seriously with regards to rugby ever again.
