My point is we stuffed up a big lead... if we had shown decent consistency we would've added more points on the board, and easily got 5 points out of that match against Aussie.

Equally, you should give credit where credit is due, we put a lot of points on them, and showed some grit at the end to score a match-winning try.

We definitely showed good composure in the last few minutes at the end to score that try, just want to see more consistency, better execution and accuracy overall.

Heh, even in the AB's of 2015, you could have said that (and pretty much any other team ever in any sport) :) But I get the point. I think since the coaching changes, there has beeen a pretty steady improvement in most areas. We are not the finished product yet, nor would it be reasonable to expect we should be, but I am encouraged on the whole by what I am seeing. No matter what happens, some of the issues we are having, will not improve until players have spent more time playing together. Midfield has been particularly difficult, we have been like a revolving door there due to injuries, we are bound to concede territory and errors in that area and the connected areas for time to come I believe.

People just need to be patient and realistic. We didn't get where we are in a hurry, fixing it won't be a quick thing either.  People are saying the last year of Hansen, there were issues that haven't yet been fixed under Foster, but they were actually apparent further back than then.

Agree, there were some issues before Hansen's last year... couldn't believe though in the last 12 months leading up to a the RWC Hansen continued to make too many changes in each test, so was hardly surprising we were disorganized & lacked cohesion in that tournament.

Yeah, those coaching changes have made a real difference, as you say it's going to take a while for us to get back on track properly... big relief Foster & Plumtree are not drilling the backs & forwards anymore.

If Havili is out with concussion, hope J.Barrett takes his spot, he offers a kicking game like Havili & has the height to stand in the tackle, using one-handed offloads to our players running off him.

Swain gets 6 weeks, described as a mid-range entry point of 6 weeks. Apparently, deemed not intentional. ('only' highly reckless).

Considering the extent of the injury Tupea has suffered, it seems an injustice that Swain will only miss 6 weeks of Rugby.

And is that 6 weeks, or 6 games?

Because if 6 weeks, he'll only miss two (Wallabies) games - NZ on 24th and Scotland on 30/10

Six games. Although I see Australia named him in the Australia A team on Monday so those games will count meaning he will be able to play most of the northern tour. I doubt he would have been selected for that tour if he hadn't been cited.

I don't know if you will ever get clearer video evidence of an intentional act than that.

Yes, includes up to and including the 6th of November. Should be at a minimum 6 test matches in my opinion.

Did they just name him in the Australia A team yesterday, so that their tour to Japan would soak up 3 of the games he was likely to get banned for?  If so, that's incredibly cynical.

Overall, I have been fairly disgusted by Australias handling of the Swain matter. Rennie leading the charge by saying he didn't even think it was a yellow wasn't a great start and really cemented my view of him as a coach.

Doesn't make any sense to drop hooker Taukei'aho & replace him with Taylor ??? ... otherwise like the starting 15.

Apparently it’s workload related, same as Scott Barrett. He’s played pretty big minutes the last couple of tests.

This is the last match of the comp, where it's vital we get 5 points from the game to give us a chance of winning The Rugby Championship, so should be starting our best available starting team.

Reckon Akira Ioane is a huge talent... But doesn't start regularly because his work rate is up & down too much, which is a shame, he's very powerful, fast & has top ball skills, the bloke could be a devastating blindside.
