You've got to be kidding me ? ...that word wasn't meant to be nasty at all, if you're actually a Kiwi you'd realize it's a piece of Kiwi/Aussie slang that has been used for many years by both countries, especially the one's from my age group.

I am from Aotearoa and the term you use is derogatory and offensive. Being used for many years does not change that

You’re being a dick. It’s not an unreasonable request.

There's lots of ignorant people who use offensive terms but mean no malice by it.

The secret is, addressing the ignorance and learning from those who are less ignorant.

Reckon you can do that?

More on topic today should be fun. Both teams have a somewhat experimental look to them with England playing 2 specialist number 8s. They’ve played 3 locks for the whole autumn so I do wonder if they were trying to setup NZ to play Barrett at 6 so they could exploit that decision.

I’d figure they’ll look to attack Clarke and whatever channel Scott Barrett is defending on. If they can isolate Scott Barrett with Simmonds they’ll have a good chance of clean Van Portliet is really quick so I think they’ll look to play around the seams.

The English backline isn’t particularly strong, Tuilagi is always 5 minutes away from doing a hamstring but a beast when’s he’s fit and Freddie Steward is a beast in the air. With their bench it looks like they will move him to the wing later in the game and try and attack through Young box kicks. Both the English wings are quite slow but work hard so if we can break we have a good chance of finishing.

He is calling you a dick because you used a term that is offensive. Someone mentioned to you but instead of learning from it you decide to double up.

You have been warned before for something else, so I will do a favour to everyone and lock your account.

Well that was a disappointing end to the season.

19 points ahead with 8 minutes to go, and end in a draw. Barrett’s yellow showed the difference one man in defence makes.

Perenara’s option of a short kick with 2 minutes to go, especially when short on defence, instead of either a long kick or retaining the ball, ultimately cost the win. Likewise the short kickoff at 25-18 with 3 minutes to go.

Twice in the match Mo’unga missed touch off a penalty. He had a good game on the whole but maybe needs to not try and carve off quite so much distance.

To me it shows how half a dozen teams are a chance for the RWC.

Correct. No malice intended, BUT it may be taken as offensive by the recipient of said "slang", thereby continuing the cycle

Yep - that's why I suggested he learn from it.

Admittedly it was right from the sideline, but Jordie’s last conversion attempt was probably the worst kick I’ve seen him do all season.

My heart sank when I saw who the replacement ref was. At least he adjudicated both sides evenly, but there were a a few head scratchers in there. It’s almost as if he was brushing up on the offside laws just before taking the field.

I had hoped (and it was looking good until the 72nd minute) that they would be able to celebrate Brodie’s 100th with a win. No one should be blaming Foster for this result. That lies squarely with the players.

The game plan was great. Their set plays created a ton of space and points. The first try was a pure coaches try. Papalii was sprinting at full pace to a spot. It’s a pure preparation try. We dominated for 70 minutes until England gave up on their game plan and have the keys to Smith.

The thing that stood out for me is the gap between the top 23 players and the rest. As I said before the game we went in with a slightly experimental team. Some things worked, some things didn’t.

Taylor’s throwing is a liability. England took one off Taukei’aho as well but that looked like a win on the jump rather the other losses. They have to solve it.

The bench was poor today. Laulala is a good scrummager and that’s it. Zero impact anywhere else. They really missed Newell and not having a lock on the bench really hurt us. Retalick and Whitelock ran out of puff at the end. They either have to play Vaai off the bench or run one of the other three from the bench.

I think the northern tour has been a success. We’ve got ~15 forwards I’m pretty confident with and we are willing to play physically. We’ve got 4 good wingers and 3 midfielders who are good to excellent. I’d like to have a better defensive fullback and another halfback but it’s been a pretty good tour. We’ve found Telea and TJ has been good.

Papalii has made big steps and I think this has been Scott Barrett’s best year by far. He’s gotten rid of the nonsense in his game and stopped the wannabe “tough guy” crap and played really well. Lomax has been a revelation, Taukeiaho was great until he ran out of gas and de Groot, Bower and Newell are at least decent.

If, and it’s a big if, we can get rid of half the lazy penalties we’ll be a really good side. The pressure penalties aren’t beating us, it’s the ticky tacky crap. It’s been part of the All Black game for a long time but teams are too good at going to the corner now.

A year ago I was convinced we were going nowhere fast. Our pack sucked and we seemed to have no real plan. Now we have a good scrum, very good maul and we are willing to go forward.

We’re still an outside chance for the World Cup but we’re a far better side than a year ago. It’s still Frances World Cup to lose.

It sucked not to win today but at least we’re not Wales. Great result for Georgia but Wales have collapsed since Gatland left. I don’t know if Pivac will make it to the World Cup. If the WRU weren’t broke I’m sure he’d be fired.
