Wow, just WOW. Japan beats SA. What a game!! Defies belief but they played their hearts out and end of the day, Japan 100% earned their win. What amazing sights in the crowds. Half time Japan got a standing ovation, from the entire crowd. I am just LOVING this world cup so far.

I thought I was in some kind of alternate universe when I read the news early this morning. April 1st? No. Correct URL? Yes. Blink.

The successful importing of soccer strategies will have a permanent effect on the game. The next world cup could look very different.

Seeing the fans in tears is such an amazing sight. This is what it's all about! Let's just hope Georgia don't do the same to us :P

There are plenty of native Japanese players in that team who played their part. Tanaka has benefited by spending time with Aaron Smith and had some serious pace. The bottom line was that the Japanese protected their ball, with excellent cleanup, they made very few handling errors.

I wouldn't say SA played badly either (Not their best), but Japan just kept believing. They didn't give up once.

The skill level was great. Lots of phases and as you say belief. Never gave up, rarely dropped the ball, literally and figuratively

I'm still in a state in disbelief. More shock than disbelief. Ok both.

Some plonker on trademe is selling his Boks Supporters jersey in disgust. I'd be ashamed to be the type of fan who couldn't acknowledge how well Japan played and consider what it does for world Ruby in these type of situations. I recall the pool games of 2011 being some of the best I'd seen. I wasn't going to watch every game this time around, but after Georgia vs Tonga and Bosk vs Japan, I've changed my mind.

Scotland vs France was horrible to watch. Canada vs Ireland has me worried about how good Ireland look, as Canada looked pretty good I thought!

Our kickers better be on song or we could be facing a rather unpleasant outcome!

Tell you one thing for free. Win lose, draw, even if they lost in the pool matches, I'd still be a bloody proud AB's supporter!

Belief is a factor no doubt. Big levels of training in the new strategy and tactics will be standing behind that.

Pumas smoked our starting 15. In the second half i thought DC was MIA - Didn't see him do anything.

But our bench won the game in the end

So DC not first receiver in the Second half ... Anybody knows what he was playing? General Manager?

In fact there was no dedicated first receiver I the second half, just random whoever wants it! ??? But it was never DC!

Very confused
