Santa brought me a roll of Trump toilet paper.

The gift that keeps on giving ...  wink

TBH, I wouldn't allow even a toilet paper representation of Trump near my a**e (to use the antipodean spelling).

Or anywhere near my ass, if I owned a donkey.

Even the image of this creature is more toxic than a Chernovil sewage farm.

Bring on the clowns? Sod that. It's hit-men we need.

Trump latest approval ratings:

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/political_updates/prez_track_dec28

Ending the year on 46% approval if you trust the poll.

Edit: doing abit of reading on this there seems to be a massive spread between the polls of 10%+ depending on the pollsters.

Live caller polls seem to average out much lower approval rating than automated/online.

Interesting.

I don't trust that poll.

But even in that poll - the most wildly optimistic of all - more people disapprove of the idiot president than approve.

I hope he's enjoying the recent Gallup poll showing that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton claim the "most admired" man / woman titles (usually the POTUS manages to be "most admired").

That should cap off a year perfectly - showing that he's been the most unpopular president in his first year since polling began.

Trump of course won't believe it - and neither will his followers.

Perhaps it's just that he's created an environment so insane that you can now read a news headline and wonder WTF the world has come to:

Russia warns U.S. against 'meddling' in presidential election

Funny thing is... There's only one viable Russian candidate as everyone else ends up in prison or dead. Meddling is really nothing Putin has to worry about.

Yes the Gallup poll is at the bottom of the pack when it comes to his approval ratings perhaps its because they use a live phone service?

The theory being that people don't want to admit to another human that they like trump because of the negativity surrounding him in the media but are more likely to admit it to a machine, this was the theory around the polls prior to the election being so far out.

But who knows the spread is interesting from a data point of view.

Bannon funder Robert Mercer forced to step down from his board:

NYTimes Robert Mercer, a billionaire investor and top financial backer of conservative causes, is stepping down as co-chief executive of Renaissance Technologies, as the giant hedge fund faces a backlash from some clients who resent Mr. Mercer’s embrace of polarizing political figures.

He's handed his share in Breitbart to his daughters and it's clear he's still with Bannon.

Guardian Leaked documents and newly obtained public filings show how the billionaire Mercer family built a $60m war chest for conservative causes inside their family foundation by using an offshore investment vehicle to avoid US tax.

Mercer also helps fund the Mercer Family Foundation, a nonprofit led by his daughter and political guru, Rebekah. It has no website, staff or offices and is registered to a mailbox at a UPS store on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. It was previously listed at Rebekah’s $28m home in a Trump building nearby. The foundation’s accountant is treasurer of Make America Number 1, a Super Pac part-funded by Mercer, which supported the 2016 campaign against Clinton.

The Gallup poll is not at the bottom of the pack at all!

Reuters, Quinnipiac, CNN, Monmouth all have lower approval / higher disapproval ratings for Trump than Gallup. Gallup is very much middle of the range.

Rasmussen Reports is a consistent outlier.

Ah the data that I was looking at was out of date on gallup but looking at more recent ratings Rasmussen Reports is not that far off others like Mclaughlin & Assicuates, Morning Consult and others all with in a few % points with December polls many are mid to low 40s similar to Obama some are low 30s the spread is very large.

Another societal standard that's been circling the drain in current years is correct use of the English language.

Spelling, grammar and punctuation are fast becoming elitist. And we all know what happens to folks with IQs of over, say, 95 in times of global conflict.

Still, does it really matter if we're unable to understand each other's written communications?

At least a third of Americans seem to be able to scrape by without this skill.

I won't attempt to quantify any antipodean cousins in case our ex-pats are further disadvantaged.

Good lord. You're comparing Trump's highest rating from the hopelessly biased Rasmussen Reports with Obama's average.
Obama managed to get 50% average at this point in his presidency -despite being in the midst of the GFC - and being black. 10 point lead over the biggest liar and dirty scumbag misogynist Putin-backed POS POTUS.
