It takes my breath away how utterly stupid this man is, and how completely incapable of seeing it. He has the sensitivity of a sea cucumber!

I don't think there is ever a bad time to talk about how absurd war is, how old men make decisions and young people die. - George Clooney

CNBC - Before inauguration, Trump had reportedly already seen evidence Putin personally ordered election interference

  • Before his inauguration, then-president-elect Donald Trump was told that Russian President Vladimir Putin “personally ordered complex cyberattacks to sway the 2016 American election," The New York Times reported.
  • Trump was shown evidence that included information gathered from a top-secret source close to Putin, which outlined Kremlin’s plan to sway the 2016 election, according to the report.

CBS's Jeff Glor asks President Donald Trump if he believes members of the intelligence community are out to get him.

Subtitle: I'm not paranoid, it's just everyone was out to get me

He rattles off 7 senior people names, without pausing.

Then continues with "...you look at other people in the FBI that have been fired, that are no longer there. Certainly I can't have any confidence in the past..."

hmmm.. he forgot to mention he was the one firing people. It must have slipped his mind

Yep, very funny. Can't help but recognise that he certainly brings out the worst in some people.

They have been trolling the Orange Buffoon ever since he stole the election

[EDIT]  I had not seen references to The Queen's choice of brooches for when she met Trump.  That is priceless.

NYTimes - Opinion - Charles M. Blow - July 18, 2018

quoted at length because of pay wall

It is an unfathomable proposition that the day would ever come when America could rightly question the loyalties of its own president, but that is precisely where we have arrived.

Donald Trump’s “Surrender Summit” with President Vladimir Putin of Russia was such a disloyal, traitorous display that it boggles the mind.

Russia attacked our election in 2016. Russia. Moscow did it to help get Trump elected. Putin himself admitted that “patriotic” Russian hackers may have meddled in the election.
These are not open questions. These are facts.

And yet, Trump chose to meet with the man who directed those attacks.
He did so one on one behind closed doors, so we have no idea what they discussed, confessed, agreed to or even conspired.

At the news conference that followed the meeting, Trump undercut our own intelligence community, instead siding with Putin, saying:

“I have President Putin. He just said it’s not Russia. I will say this. I don’t see any reason why it would be.”

After which Trump said, “So I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today.”

Then he said: “What he did is an incredible offer. He offered to have the people working on the case come and work with their investigators, with respect to the 12 people. I think that’s an incredible offer.”

That’s right, Trump thinks the criminal’s denial of the crime was “powerful” and thinks it’s an “incredible offer” that the criminal wants to help investigate the crime he committed.
