I am sure if Jacinda knew the result, and it wasn't in her Favour, she would be out and attacking Winston for his decision and stealing the Thunder. Likewise with National.

Maybe...  I hope they go with Labour/Greens, but I'm not holding my breath. National have got a lot more to lose, and would most likely be willing to give a lot more to NZF than Labour IMHO.

Fine day in Christchurch.   It's about 4.15 pm, plenty of time to get out there & mow your lawn.    There will be no announcement until about 5.45 pm - 6 pm.... so he gets max coverage on all the news shows.

Winston now can't make up his mind eh - eenie meenie minie mo, flip and coin and pick a govt is what the public might hear but hear this:

Jacinda and Bill, common, still waiting to be PM, make me PM and I'll choose you.

Jacinda and Bill: I've offered him 4 wives, 8 burger, 200 nuggets, the palace, the keys to the safe, half the cabinet, all the money, and he still wants more? S#it, shall we give him the PM too? Shall we?

I think you will find that Bill and Jac are in a bidding war.

I am hoping Bill and Jacinda spoke over the first weekend and said - don't give him anything or he'll strip us naked! Here's hoping ...

If B&J could agree to help each other like that, then there'd be no need to negotiate with Winston at all - as they'd be capable of forming a grand coalition.

That's a dumb idea. Or is it? I'm sure they could surrender billions of NZF claims and give it a crack.
If this isn't over tonight it's due to overbidding by the main parties, with our money, and your suggestion has merit

Agree. He's worth 7%, but more due time to his position. If he gets a LOT more that's not right. Posts, policies, etc

I am pretty sure they will both be giving him much more than 7%.

Both parties have the same amount to lose. Power. They have the same amount to offer.

Not sure why you'd feel either party has more to lose than anyone else?

Of course it could be National and Labour who are being the pains in the proverbial.

It has to be, offer, counter offer, counter counter offer. That's fine but is anyone going to say I'm out WE cannot afford it. National sees themselves as a right to rule, Labour can't play ball much unless it's time for a change. I can see these guys buying NZ us a $600,000 house for a million. He has 7% not 70

Of course he'll get a lot more. I'd say all NZF to become Ministers of something.

Two witnesses Newshub has agreed not to identify say they have seen Winston Peters sneaking around the Labour Party offices.

He is believed to have been using a little-known route through a warren of Parliamentary buildings, sneaking up through a carpark.

Maybe but doubt it. I see Labour as the easier option but I see National digging deeper into their pockets.

Edit and I see pride doing the bidding

I've said from the start when Winston announced he wanted to wait for the special votes to be counted that his preference is Labour. I still think that is his preference.

*I just read a Herald article that his "tough" decision was because he wanted to go with Labour but Labour is offering him less than National!

Greens 150 are meeting with Labour. They did not plan to meet unless they had to. Could be Labour or just another counter counter counter counter offer
