I wouldn't want to watch. Those things are cringe worthy from both sides or the podium.

He seemed to take more opportunities to denigrate Fonterra...

His own selfish agenda. Winston must feel quite at home in this Trump era of lies and mistruths.

Stepping up to the be the big boss for just six weeks - there are worse gigs out there! I seriously doubt that Simon Bridges & the Nats. will land many punches on him at Question Time - he's still an excellent performer in Parliament. As for the rest of it it will steady as she goes. Winston will be fine as long as he doesn't lose his sense of humour completely. He'd probably handle a crisis such as a flood or earthquake just fine. Relax everyone. 41 days to go anyway.

Objectively looking at this, yes, a country's leader giving birth during their term in office is front page material and really lifts the perspective on what women can achieve. Great stuff! But the media have been publishing this event to the extent that it feels too corny to look/read about it anymore.

I am disgusted by our  Coalition failing to make a public statement condemning Trump's administration's policy of separating families.

I think it is not so much the coalition but more a Winston Peters attitude. Kelvin Davis has spoken out against it.

A Winston peters attitude is a government attitude. WP holds all the cards, nobody else in government. All the other puppets have to just suck it up and play along.

WP is "acting" PM, he speaks for the country. His lack of condemnation has done nothing to change my extremely low opinion of him.

Nobody in the coalition will dare condemn the man, even though its pretty obvious the majority of them dont agree with his views. Anybody in the coalition that tries to condemn him will be committing political suicide, they risk breaking the already wobbly coalition.

Oh I do understand how it works. I just don't agree with how it currently works. I dont agree that its democratically right that we sitting with a PM, who's party only got 7% votes, and who could not even win a seat in his own electorate. Its a shambles Mike, and I don't care how you want to sugar coat it, but he should never be where he is. I would probably have a little bit more respect for him if he won his own seat, but that did not happen so even his own electorate did not approve of him.
