UK has just decriminalised Cannabis.  AU ACT state, which allows you to carry 50gms or less or 4 plants but will give a spot fine of $100, it is 1 vote away from the greens to making it completely legal. Keeping people out of the criminal system. In the UK its on the spot warning now. Similar to one state AU I think which has 3 warnings but also has a small fine.

Either way 2 more countries getting closer to closing the madness on MJ. I cant believe the SAFAs beat us to it lol. Not only this but looks like the Aussies will be too. Can Jacinda move that referendum or is it stuck to 2020 voting (november?). Because she needs to do something for NZ, I mean she is only there because of the Greens.

The way its going, medicinal cannabis(legal) will be not be affordable for most. The costs that these Companies have to go through is huge and they will want a return.

Its not, its approx $35 per week. And its just CBD oil which doesnt give any uplifting properties. Smoking high CBD strains like ACDC or 5:3 CBD to THC makes sense for many illnesses, mostly certainly for pain that causes depression. But Im not a doctor. IMO CBD oils are a waste of time. Check out the health threads for more info.

Thats why its important this referendum is for personal use. From there a platform can be built upon.

One other thing I thought of, I did the Euthanasia referendum occur, because it looks like bills are being drawn up for that, which I personally think in this day and age is also a good thing. Each to their own and we would all get along a lot better.

I'm hoping medicinal cannabis will be government funded. The amount of cash I have to fork out for canabis is ridiculous, and that's party due to me having to purchase it via means that I will not disclose of here. I am currently on medication for my anxiety which does not really help, I am unable to work. My normal meds are funded and I see no reason as to why my cannabis will not be funded the same way if its prescribed by doctor.

I agree that she is only there because of the greens. They deserve more credit. I don't believe we need a referendum, legislation should just role forward, it was done with same sex marriage and it should be done again. If there is one thing I dont like about Jacinda its that I sometimes find her too soft. She needs to be play hard ball, and should be pushing for reform.

The Greens have stated they will only ever go with Labour, so they are effectively a shadow Labour party. This whole "We're not part of the Govt" charade the Greens pull every time they try to claim some moral high ground is really played out.

I will be really curious to see what the Green's residual support is after cannabis has been legalised. I'm expecting them to struggle.
