Handle9:
The drums are starting to beat very hard for a spill. It sounds like Collins will be lucky to last the weekend.
Where are you hearing these drums? Apart from a few opinion pieces about how crap she's doing, I couldn't see anything on the main news sites about this.

Who would roll her though? They would need a LOT of support behind them. Yes, she's doing some stupid things at the moment but I don't see an obvious successor.
Bugger being the person who would want to take over the leadership roll of this train wreck.
Taking over a party with about as much personality as a damp squib.

So.... literally nothing happened. Powderkeg, or just the Labour bros on Twitter causing mischief?

Why blame "Labour bros on Twitter" - do you have a link to the posts to qualify that or just "a hunch"?

Most of the hype came from David Cormack and Shane te Pou yesterday evening.
Perhaps 'causing mischief' is a bit too much as they're going to be right, eventually.
Lucky I am limiting my Twitter intake to once a day or once every second day. I have also mostly left Facebook behind. Both are not worth the time spent following crap.

As one becomes older, which I am, one becomes less willing to waste what time one has left on inconsequentialities. I don't care if Bill Gates wants to implant everyone with mind control chips. Good luck to him. I don't care if Hillary Clinton (who?) wants to eat children. Bon appetite. I care that my cat loves me and my bath is warm. Take your outrage somewhere else.

National Party leader Judith Collins has quashed suggestions her position is under threat and says her MPs are "very comfortable" with the latest caucus reshuffle.
The reshuffle included stripping prominent MP Chris Bishop of the Shadow Leader of the House position and replacing him with Michael Woodhouse.
Collins said it was enable Bishop to "focus solely" on his other role as Covid-19 spokesman for the party.
In the past week Collins has been under fire over her refusal to participate in a virtual parliament because of level 4 restrictions, and instead travel down to Wellington.

Could be both. We'll find out in due course.
In a game of paper, scissors, rocks who would take the leadership role, the winner or the loser?
You would think that both parties now know that the leader of the party needs to be the public face / PR person who looks good, talks the talk and has a teflon suit. The real leader or people who develop the policies etc can sit in the background and do their thing.
And that technical or nitty gritty talk is a waste of time as those who ultimately decide the elections are just a small 20% subset of voters so those are the ones you need to blind with PR speak and visual fancy stuff even if it is meaningless.
