Hi guys ive been trying to resolve a NETFLIX problem with a  Samsung TV UA40D6600 which I cannot get Netflix working.

I believe that this may be a model/ app specific version problem, as it works on other devices tablet, and smartphone in the home via unblock us and VPN.

If it is please can you share what Samsung model TVs have been found to work with NETFLIX? We need the full model info e.g.
UA50D6600/ UA50F6400 etc.

There is a new firmware version on Samsung.com v 1025 but I am reluctant to try it incase the restrictions get worse. Anyone tried updating their Samsung TVs from 1018 to 1025 versions of firmware??

The reason I ask for tv models is that I will upgrade to one that works. cheers.

There are numerous threads on here discussing this very issue. Have you looked at these?

Yeah I have they either werent specific to the actual model that was working or debating the best setup.

I wanted to know specific models that are working or not working. Theres no topic specific to what tv is working or not to netflix.

Before I go and buy another tv. Cheers.

Hi guys an update.

I couldnt get netflix to work on Samsung models 40D6600, thats with updating the firmware to the latest which was 1025 if I recall correctly. Coule never get it to work on a D series, dispute working on other devices.

Following another post on here (F Series) I was successful with the F series model which was 55F6400.

cheers

Some people suggested removing the Netflix app.
Change tv region to the uk.
Download Netflix.
Change the region back to the USA.

Problem seems to be the us version of the software. Somehow switching to the uk version doesnt get overwritten when you switch back to the USA region..... Apparently.

Did you try that?

I am in the market for a 50inch tv. Has anyone got the recent Samsung 48H6300 or 48H6400 series TVs working with Netflix and a proxy server?
