Hi all,
ongoing fault with our digital reception whereby TV 1, 2 and Prime suffer from intermittent poor reception - pixelation / freezing / loss of audio etc. As we know, they will charge a hefty fee to come out and within 10mins say it's not their problem....
I have checked and reseated all the connections through to the wall / cold restart / signal strength has been checked (good).

thanks,
Marty.

TVOne and TV2 are on transponders to the upper end of the band, also in the past few days Sky have been bringing more Horizontal transponders online reading for tonights changeover. If you have noted described problems in the last few days then it may be that your LNB is slightly out of adjustment (skew in particular). Everything will change tonight, so the problem may go away or get worse, for most folk if your skew is slightly out then you will have problems while there are transmissions on both polarities simulateoulsy but will work perfectly fine once all transmission change to just Hpol latter tonight.

That said note the BER readings, if its not up in the ?E-07 then there is most likely a skew issue, if its still bad tomorrow after the changeover then you will need service call.

Cyril
