I have recently bought the above tv tuner (second hand) for my htpc. As I'm new to pc building I am unsure what cables I need, and where to connect them on my motherboard which is a Gigabyte F2A88XM-HD3

Would someone be able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks

You should only need to plug it into your computer and run your antenna cables, looks like 2 satelite and 2 terrestrial. Only other thing you need is media software.

Oh really, that's good to know.

Just out of curiosity what are the 5 connectors for?

Thanks

the 2 threaded connectors are for satelite and the other 2 are terrestrial, cant quite see what the 5th one is. You probably will need to run audio out from the back of the card to some speakers as well

Ok thanks.

Yea the ones at the back of the card I have no idea about.
Do I need to connect all of them? Which cables are they?

You don't need to worry about them, it's just some audio in and out functionality and some auto wakeup stuff...

If you just want to watch TV on your HTPC you just need to hook up the aerial cable once the card is installed and install the software (or run Windows Media Centre)

Ah cheers. Auto wake up could be useful though. What cables would I need for that?

Have you read the manual?

Yes I did have a quick look, but I couldn't find which cables are needed for the back of the card.
The manual also doesn't state where the cables go on the motherboard.

I tried searching on Google but couldn't find the info.

That's why I posted on here.
