kiwijunglist, how have you set up your turners, did you group them as hybrids? how about mapping options, what steps did you take after adding Prime manually?

A few others here have been having problems. I'm beginning to suspect that it may be Vista causing problems.

First time i tried with analog
I did an automatic scan it picked up about 350 analog channels
When i hit preview in TV-Server config, i could see C4 analog
I tried a couple of other channel they were also C4.

Then i deleted all the channels from the auto scan
Then i added prime manually
Then i mapped it to a tuner
Then i previewed and it was still C4
Then i rebooted
Then when i viewed the channel again (can't remember if this was with TVServer preview or mediaportal program) but i got prime tv.

I setup my card as a hybrid
then i undid the hybrid setup
then i set it up so 1x tuner was digital only and 1x tuner was analog only.

PS - FYI I am using XP SP2, I downloaded the latest HVR2200 driver from the UK hauppague website, didn't use any of the CDs supplied with the card.

Last night I found a fix for the problems I was having. You might want to try it too if you want to use the dual hybrid feature of your card...

Here's what I did...

1. (with the default card order list) I grouped the 1st digital and 1st analog card as a hybrid, and then the 2nd digital and 2nd analog card as a second hybrid, like your supposed to.

2. Next (the step that solves my problems) I moved the 2nd analog card up the priority list.

Now I can switch channels as much a I want, and record analog and digital at the same time as well as viewing a third channel in the same digital mux.

Cheers

yeah i will set that up at some stage. but first thing is i want to try and get C4/TVNZ6/TVNZ7 to work with hardware acceleration on my ATI HD3200.  I had actually forgotten how sh**ty analog looks, but i have no choice with prime tv.
