Bought a sony W4000 series lcd tv and a Wii fit gaming bundle from Bond and Bond (St Lukes)  just before the Christmas sales last year ! Wait and wait. Finally got a phone call on sunday, and was told the TV is a old model, and is no longer in stock, but I can have a displayed floor model ?! The salesman on the phone had not given an alternative to it ? And the Wii fit board will not be in until the second week in Feb. (earliest).

When I paid them the money, won't they be able to check the stock situation on the TV set ? Surely, they know that it is an old model ? And having to wait about two months for the Wii fit bundle ? That is just bad.
I have spoke to the consumeraffairs people in Wellington. The consumeraffairs people told me, I have very right to get a Full refund. It is exactly what I am going to do. Get a Full refund on everything. Take my bussiness elsewhere.

Sorry to hear about the bad customer experience.

I recently purchased an LCD as well and bought it from JB Hifi. Not sure if they have the specific model you are after but its worth a check. They also have the Wii in stock so you may be able to get a bulk discount if you get both from there.

Their St Lukes branch has it all. Should get your refund and check it out.
