Hi Guys
We are a couple of country people living in rural Tauranga Ohauiti. Between Tauranga City and Northern Rotorua.
We are currently on dial up, Xtra which is proving very unreliable when it rains, and to far from the telephone exchange for "wired broadband" so was wondering about wireless?. Not satellite as to costly. Say 2GB to 5 GB a month 1 to 2Mb/s a second upsteam / downsteam speed. But canbe easily upgraded.
Has anybody had any experiance here or make any suggestions?
Thanks
Warren

Hi,

Depends how far out you are.  Netsmart operate a wireless broadband service past Ohauiti and beyond.  Pay to give them a try.  http://www.netsmart.net.nz/wireless.

Hi Bhudz
Thanks for the tip re Netsmart. Had a few conflicting reports, from neighbours, about them this far out. Others have suggested EOL
