Well this is special, I whole forum just for people to introduce themselves.

Perhaps not the most entertaining topic to read on a regular basis but I guess people will find it interesting to view some more information about the latest troll/propeller-head/n00b they encounter in other parts of this forum.

Guess I should say something about myself:

My name's Philip Baker, living in Hamilton NZ and I do relocation consultancy. If you don't know what that is, don't worry, I haven’t met anyone that has known what I do until I explain it.

Basically I move companies, if a company needs a larger office, workshop or warehouse that where I come in. I plan the whole move from finding a new location, negating the lease, sorting out contractors, phones, internet and all that. Then I plan the actual move and organise movers and the such. For more visit www.sardines.co.nz (presently under construction)
As far as hobbies go I used to be a avid gamer (esp. Counter Strike back in the beta days) but have less and less time for it now so I end up playing games on my cell phone which doesn’t really fill the need. My parents also have their own business that I end up helping with a lot. I don’t really mind as working with them gives me a lot of family time I probable wouldn’t force myself to take otherwise. For more visit www.thecastle.co.nz

Welcome to Geekzone.

Your business sounds like great fun - each client would have their own special needs to make the contract unique I suppose.

Welcome to Geekzone... I remember a stop in the castle a couple of years back. I am pretty sure it was in Tirau - or how many other castles do we have in New Zealand?

Yes you're right, it is in Tirau.

There are a couple of castles in NZ, Larnach Castle been the most obvious (www.larnachcastle.co.nz). Larnach term themselves NZs only castle but it really depends on your definition of what a castle is, I mean they don't even have a moat :P

Some guy build himself a $2 million dollar castle somewhere near Wellington. It was on the news but I have heard nothing more about it.
