So I've been wandering around on Geekzone for a while now, and realised a while back that I never made an official introduction. I decided to wait until my 1000th post (of which this is).

So, here it goes.

Greetings, fine people of Geekzonia.

I am dontpanic42 from Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the Galaxy.

I like to think I'm well versed in all things geekery, but I'm wise enough to know that I'm not... which is why I tend to spend a lot of time on Geekzone, learning from the amazingly knowledgeable people that also call Geekzone home.

I guess my main interests are pretty much all things Computers, a touch of Android, Home Theatre, Solar and renewable technologies, and very amateur photography.

I look forward to stealing lots of useful advice off the friendly forum folk, and also hope that I can help other people out in the process.

So say we all! :)

P.S. A special thanks to MF and the mods for maintaining a fantastic forum, and forum atmosphere.

Yay. 1001 posts means I get an extra star, and the title Uber Geek.
