So? It is a free modem provided by an ISP who offer low-margin plans. They can't afford to give out Wireless AC routers to everyone. If you don't like it then buy a new one but for essentially all their customers it is completely fine.


So dont call it the latest when it's not. Its not even dual band so welcome to 2.4GHz urban hell.

I don't live in a busy area and I can see the wifi from 6 other telecom routers.
