bazzer: I wasn't really questioning if you deserved it, I was just throwing out a scenario that takes your example to an extreme. I don't see the fact that you've been with them for 6 years as being relevant to this issue. The voucher thing wasn't for long time Telecom people, it was for anyone resigning on a contract.

Anyway, sounds like it might get resolved for you. Hope you do get the voucher, one should be rewarded for loyalty but it doesn't always work out like that.

Glad to say I got a call from Karen today confirming there was a voucher lodged against my account number. The actual physical voucher and covering letter must have been lost in the mail.

I am so sorry, I thought they had already been in touch with you to discuss. I will get on to it immediately and make sure they call you tomorrow morning.

So does this mean I'll likely need to wait until the voucher turns up or possibly spent some time discussing it with people prior to actually buying my new phone lest I pay full price? Or should the fact I've got a pre-existing contract account mean that my account will be flagged as being eligible when I get to the checkout?
