I agree with Tania that it's very poor wording; it says not available in some countries, not carriers. By that wording, if it's supported in NZ at all, then it should work with all NZ carriers!

I think it's very poor of Apple to sell restricted phones as "unlocked". I remember somebody saying that they would report Apple to the Commerce Commission over it, but I don't know whether that actually happened or not.

I keep reading that other features are not available if you use an iphone on Telecom but no one has said what feature. Any idea what else is gone?

I'm still tempted to get an iphone and a t-stick for broadband instead - but can you use the Telecom "Internet on your Mobile" $1 per day or $6 per month for 20MB etc with the t-stick? I just need occassional access to download a file so the $29.95 broadband fee would be overkill for me.

I just changed over to Telecom from Vodafone two days ago with my iPhone 3GS, and apart from tethering, from my experience all other features work exactly the same on XT as they did on Vodafone. I haven't tried, but I think Tworld doesn't work either.
