The Geekzone Dinner Auckland 2005 is on! We will have something similar to the Geekzone Party 2005 Wellington.

Event: Geekzone Dinner 2005 Auckland
Date: Saturday 26 November 2005, 5PM
Venue: The Bluestone Room
9 - 11 Durham Lane
Central City,
Auckland

ph 09 302 0930
(Durham Lane is off Durham Street which is off Queen Street in Central Auckland)

Every Geekzone user is invited - for the Geekzone Party Wellington 2005 we had people coming from all over New Zealand, so we hope we can repeat this again in Auckland!

We will have spot prizes, kindly donated by phonestuff.co.nz and Sprite Software.

This post will be updated frequently, and you can start posting your RSVP and buzz here!

I'll be there. I look forward to meeting up with GZ users (again for some of you).

Edit: :-( Cant make it due to family commitments. I hope everyone has a great time.
Maybe you could do a webcast at some point for all the GZ members who cant make it to see you guys?

So whos coming? Dont be shy. A good time was had by all at the Wellington event, and all are welcome.

There was lots of very interesting conversation on a wide range of topics last time, - something for everyone, then some of us went for a fabulous meal afterwards.

I actually left johnr and chris021 in the hotel, and when I got back home received a SMS from them saying "back into town for more drinks"...

ASOCIO are also having their Gala Dinner that night, it may rule out some of the AKL members?

Yes, I am aware of that. We are actually preparing something to show during the Convergence Auckland 2005/ASOCIO 05. We might have to change to Saturday, but details will be always posted on this thread.

Thanks for the reminder though.

Just a note to let you know this dinner is still on - we will start preparations soon.

In the meantime we've reached a milestone here! The Wellington Geekzone Party 2005 was a celebration of 40 million pages served - and today we crossed the 50 million pages served:

I guess the Auckland dinner will be almost 58,000,000 then but we'll use it to celebrate this milestone.
