I am looking at buying a samsung galaxy s3 in the weekend from DSE, as they have a sale on. But I noticed that their one is for the 2 degrees network, and they don't sell vodafone phones. If I buy one of these, will I have any problem getting it to work on Vodafone, where I already have a prepay account. They do also sell an unlocked one for $60 mmore, but not sure if I would need to get that instead to work on vodafone. I would have thought the 2degrees version would also be unlocked, as I didn't think mobile networks locked phones apart from skinny.

If it's the 2degrees one then it will work. Do not buy a Telecom model.

Actually scratch that. I can't remember if both support Fast Dormancy - if you get the wrong setting the battery life will suffer.
