Also thanks, although we don't seem to use more than 10G a month :) Still, nice not having to worry about a cap.

johnr: We also have new data caps on the non-naked (clothed, phone and broadband) Choice and Mega plans

https://www.vodafone.co.nz/broadband/

So these updates don't apply to the Ultimate plans?

Ah yeah.. whats up with that?

I was on the Ultimate plan as I couldn't get naked being rural, they have taken away the rural vs urban thing and I called up to day and they transferred me to chocka naked. I have my mobile with them too so I saved $20 a month and gained 120gb

Good work Vodafone

I would imagine if your on the old ultimate plans you can just transfer to mega or one of the naked plans

Reactive not proactive. And its taken a very long time.

Telecoms 500gb plus home phone and free national and mobile calling in the weekends is still better value at $119. ( You get the free weekend calling part on a promo they are running at present) But still even without it still represents better value for data.

You were one of the very lucky ones to get that offer.. the retention team don't offer that to just anyone.
Without it, its another $30 on-top. Which then makes it the worse offer available.

It's not called luck. It's called showing them who's boss and be nice to them. I was first only offered half price, then referred them to the Vodafone forums and persuaded them to give me the Free Double Data and Best Mates... It's not luck you just have to ring them up, if you have been with Vodafone for over 2 years just give them a ring you have nothing to lose..

Don't take no for an answer, if they try to give you Double Data for only $15 keep trying to persuade them to give you the Double Data for free and you will get it.

Might switch to the Choice Naked plan now, never got close to the 60GB before so can't see why I'd need 100. May as well save $10 a month haha..

I was also given free double the data, so now have 200GB per month.

I'm thinking of ringing Vodafone to move me up to chocka naked and still retain my free double the data.
This will give me 400gb per month for only $75. I'm wondering if this will fly...
