It seems some people use the presence of a paper bill to remind then to pay. So these people expect all customers to pay towards their disorganization.

Nope, my bill is paid automatically every month by credit card. Can't get much more organised.

How bout you?

stocksp: Because they are trying to change the services which they charge me for. If you read my comment, it's at least as much about how they informed me. And I don't see them discounting the bills of those who do choose to receive an email bill????

B S

Its already part of their overhead charges. Has been since day one!!!.

They should be offering a discount to get an email account rather than duplicate charging for paper based invoices.

Just another way to gouge.

No probs, print it, hang it on the clothes line, the coat with a clear coat of lacquer and hang to dry again. This will keep the hands clean :p

If you are in contract then make a complaint it is a major change and they will probably make it free for contract remainder. If not in a contract then change to a telcos that offers the included extras you need like a paper bill delivered to your house.

Do you have details of Vodafone's cost structures?

You obviously have an internet connection and you're connected online. Is it really that difficult to click on a link to download your statement?

Query: If Vodafone had included a front page note with your last statement saying, "we're moving to online billing, otherwise you'll be charged $1.50 for a paper statement" in clear writing, would that have made you happier?

One thing that needs to be looked into is why the late payment fee is increasing to $17.25? I personally pay my bill on time, but this is excessive isn't it? In my opinion $10 is reasonable but increasing it. Damn.

Wait a minute! This must be for fixed line, It can't be for mobile on account because I remember vodafone tried this a few years ago for on account and it didn't stick, people got so mad about it that vodafone decided against it, they even apologized on the vodafone forum, I don't have a link but it went something along the lines of ''we're sorry we're only human'' we didn't know people would be so unhappy about it!
So are you having another go at it vodafone? just like you did with the %2 credit card charge,

I think it's wrong for them to charge to send a bill, though they and others that support it see it as a resonable way for them to reduce costs.

I learnt that you can't win by arguing about it, either pay the $1.50 or get it by email, or change provider.

The isp I'm with even charges for credit card payments, there are others that don't, I've got an unmetered tivo data deal that's happened by accident but once they decide to end that I'll probably move to more credit card friendly isp, but just about all the ones I've looked at send bill by email.

Yes, I might have been happier if there was a front page note rather than having it stuck on the back of a bookmark which was ostensibly about helping kids with books
