A final bill has to be generated it's the way billing system/s work

777 / 0800 800 021 should be able to email you a final copy, If not then DM me details and I will take a look when I get time

No, typically the process just involves people and moving physical objects between places.  You can replace the physical objects with virtual ones, but systems and infrastructure still cost.  When you get into things like PCI DSS compliance it costs more.

Computers don't make things free.

Not free but pretty damn cheap, automated processes make things more efficient and save big bucks.
For instance I did an upgrade for a company in which I automated the generation of invoices and so the amount of time it took to produce invoices went from days to hours.
Instead of paying an employee to generate invoices all day they just got them to click a few buttons for a couple of minutes then the computer would do the rest itself and the employee could move on to other tasks.

Back when I was working consumer complaints the final invoice would be sent my mail thus if VF have your postal address wrong on your account then that would explain why you did not get it. As JohnR said you can always contact VF and we can email it to a specified email address.




Please note: I have a professional bias towards Vodafone.

Your "provocative" curiosity will find it hard to come across love on forums like these where people participate voluntarily to assist others. A more sublime method would have been to just simply ask with "non-provocative" curiosity. Either way, as John advised, a call to customer support should sort your issue out.

No matter what type of organisation you are dealing with there are very different rules for accepting payment and making payment.  For a refund from anyone you should expect to have to contact them, establish your identity (to a far greater degree than for payment), and then provide details of how they can pay you...


Drifting off-topic somewhat and not specific to Vodafone, but this is one of the reasons why I'm always reluctant to set up Direct-Debits.  You're essentially giving an organisation a blank cheque every month.  I'm sure most are trustworthy and won't debit your account unless they they are entitled to do so, but an error on their side could leave you out of pocket significantly with a potentially cumbersome battle to get it rectified.




I've joined a carpenters course.  Haven't made anything yet....we've only just begun.
