When I was on fibre I had adjusted my Asus modern to allow my roku to work here in NZ with USA netflix. I done this by routing the Google dns 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, can someone PLEASE tell me how I can do this with the cable modem? Or any other work around?

It's a Vodafone modem, that apparently I have to use to get service. I think that would be related, and others in here would have the same modem and more likely to see the post.

No he is wanting to know how to make routes for the google DNS servers to go nowhere so that the devices cant reach them.

I would have thought that asking for help with an ISP forced router in that ISPs forum is on topic?

Do the Vodafone cable modems still require (or at least easily support) the use of a customer owned router?  This would give you options.

So how far away is bridge mode support?

Very short sighted not to offer this level of support, when the model forced all users to become administrators of their own kit (which many have)
