My wife gets back from a business trip this evening, if these issues are still continuing and it would be a miracle if they were not then I believe come Monday I will be looking for a new ISP after a very long time with Vodafone. 



Why has everyone complaining about this not just done that already!!
It must be exhausting doing all these tests and talking to poor tier 1 csr's to get no where.

...also I don't see the point of 1Gbps plans because the use case is just sooooooo minute.

I agree, I have a degree of loyalty but I also do not wish any downtime if I transferred to another ISP with UFB. Being disabled the Internet is very important to me and my wife's work is also dependent on it. Getting UFB is a minefield.

There's nothing stopping you from having both UFB and cable installed at the same time with separate providers.

I am considering the option of UFB from Vodafone if they will install in my area.

If you have cable already, they probably won't - you'll need to choose another provider.

 

Why do you want to stay with them? I couldn't see your response to this question.

UFB is really not hard to install for residential. Does it take time? Absolutely. But start the process at least.
Also, there would be no down time if you were to request UFB from another provider.

As above. Don't cancel Vodafone cable until UFB has actually been installed and connected.

voyager also do a good deal on UFB. Im happy with my vdsl from them (as happy as possible on lousy copper) but its never slowing down from the line speeds.
