I am looking for info on USB data cards other than Vodem that Vodafone may be selling already. i understand a new 900mHZ UMTS capable card has been launched?

Long story short is i need to know models and the local Voda stores are not at all helpful. I am growing product knowledge and i need to know if the Vodem and the new USB cards have external antenna ports?

I am keen to know what modems support 850/900/2100 UMTS and 850mhz GPRS EDGE

Also does any one know where to find good HSDPA routers etc 850mhz UMTS/GPRS EDGE 850MHZ / 2100mhz and 900MHZ UMTS would be great, who sells that sort of thing in NZ.

I am new to the GSM data world and really need a fast learning curve to get to expert mode quickley!!!

Hi there,

the new cards go on sale in a couple of weeks, they're gorgeous (I have one in front of me) and they're 2100/900MHz HSDPA (so 7.2Mbit/s down where the network supports it).

Cheers

Paul

Are they like the Vodafone USB sticks, like the ones in the UK?

I quite like the looks of those (and they're also 7.2Mbit capable).
