Is anyone else on Vodafone's Red Network having issues with Mediaworks (TV3, C4, The Edge, The Rock, et al) content? The sites load fine, but any attempt to play embedded media (e.g. 3 News clips, The Edge podcasts) just stalls and times out.

I've tried talking to Vodafone support but they keep telling me to do speed tests and other irrelevant rubbish. The issue is clear: Vodafone is having issues connecting to wherever Mediaworks content is being hosted.

Can anyone from Vodafone confirm this is an issue, or are any of you geekzoners having similar problems? Thanks in advance!

Ive been having problems (i.e. wont bloody work) streaming GeorgeFM (Mediaworks) on Telecom DSL today. Has been resolved tonight.
Possibly a problem with mediaworks' servers?

I've found with VodaFone that anything from TV3 on Demand won't load.  It loads the Pre-Roll Ad for like 2 seconds then the connection timesout and you cannot watch it, considering its a website you would expect it to work.   Went into work the other day to try it out as it would not work at home on VF and using Slingshot at work it played straight away.

tv3 on demand doesn't work for me either (VF)

This video is only available to NZ viewers.
If you are in NZ, your video will play shortly.

nothing happens maybe it's something to do with the way VF is routing traffic

Same here, always a bit hit and miss. Majority of the time TV3/C4 OnDemand doesnt let me watch a full episode.

Same with the 3news iphone app over VF wifi, videos will only play for 20secs or so then get stuck..

It must be just VF fixed line as tv3 on demand works for me on my mobile over 3G
