I read that windows media centre will not be included in Windows 10

http://www.extremetech.com/computing/204903-microsoft-kills-off-windows-media-center-for-windows-10

What does this mean if you use xbox 360 as a media extender to stream media files to your tv.
Will you have to use a work around or use other devices such as smart TV?

FYI - I also have Xbox One

can't you just use a dlna server on your PC?

My flatmate just installed plex (or any other server like that) and it shows up on his xbox one.

plex is great, they will get used to it :P

you can also watch your plex server from anywhere else on the internet provided you have a decent upload speed!

Xbox One can also stream files to your TV via your PC using the built in media player app or you can use the Plex app on Xbox One

Do whatever you want to do man.
