I've been having problems with the Task Scheduler that comes with Windows 10 Home.  When Windows automatically updates, it seems to break the Task Scheduler.  I'm not 100% sure if this is due to the update itself or the restart that it causes. I am accessing this system using GoToMyPC which I think is exasperating the problem.  I have a number of tasks set up that trigger at midnight each night then recur every 1 minute.  It seems after a Windows update, the recurring schedules are dropped and not restarted until the midnight trigger which can mean the applications aren't run for a good part of the day.  I also had to roll back the last update to get it going again.

I need a reliable tool (preferably free or at least cheap) which will allow me to schedule apps which will run at various times of the day.  Any suggestions?

Can you elaborate on your use case? And post SS of all your settings?

Do you simply want tasks to repeat every minute indefinitely?

In that case run as system account and trigger the task at startup.

Or do you want it to run for x minutes from midnight?

Have you tried using multiple triggers?

This was a post on behalf of my girlfriend.  She has since written her own task scheduler and it works a treat.  Thanks for the replies,
