Avoid those "kids" laptops that only have 16/32gb storage as well, absolute nightmare to work with regardless what OS. Client bought one for his business trips, installed Office and that was all he could do :-p

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fully agree.  That form factor/spec works for chromebooks, but the equivalent machine in windows form was a nightmare.  Yuck.

I think a visit to Noel Leemings and Harvey Norman this weekend will help, if she can see not all Windows based laptops are the size of the one she is using at the moment this may halo sway her in the right direction.
