7empest was worth the price of admission.

Ha maybe for you. I need to check the set list but it felt like about half a dozen songs from the new album.

TOOL, 28th Feb, GA, had a blast, feet hurt.

Amazing show, loved the effects. 2nd time seeing them, apart from BDO; originally saw them 18 odd years ago in Wellington.

Looks like the set list was subtly different between nights: 28th and 29th. Looks like the second night also missed out on Dancing Queen for the 'you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here' music haha. That stuck with me for a spell.

We also spotted Adam when he was out getting lunch that day!

Every Tool show I've been to has been predominantly the new stuff with a smattering of old stuff.  They are touring the new album after all.

I loved the Tool concert, we were at the Friday one. Great energy, light show and sound quality.

I’m a fairly recent Tool fan, having been a APC fan for a long time. I like the new album so the set list for me was really good.

I should have gone to the one in 2013. They mostly played Enima (5), two each from Lateralus and 10,000 Days. And one from Undertow.

Queen. Dunedin. Outstanding.

Same here

People complained about the audio, but hey I wanted to see them live and thats what I got. Its a stadium and there will be acoustic challenges.

Bl^&*^y    Brilliant!

Adam Lambert really does justice to the Queen songs.  Were a fan of Adam since he appeared in American Idol and was hoping he will tour with Queen.

Saw them in Auckland when they toured NZ a few years back.

Tool 28/2/20.

4th time I've seen them, Fear Inoculum is far better live than I would have thought.

First time I'd seen them. To be honest I was annoyed at the set list. I knew the new album would get heavy play. But would've preferred more older tracks.
Don't get me wrong, it sounded amazing and I was impressed how much they could play as a four piece, and I thought the lack of visuals of the band did well to hide the fact they must all be in their fifties by now.
I really ought to have gone when they were here last when they hadn't released any new material in awhile.

When they were young the likes of Maynard never really showed himself. The first time I saw them he spent most of his time crouched behind a screen, painted blue. That time there was very little in the way of straying from the album versions of the tracks as the show was so tightly choreographed using the Jim Rose Circus.

This time I was happy to see how active Justin was, especially at the start of the gig - we were directly opposite him and the side view of the stage was brilliant. Previously I've been in the front row twice and mucking around mid-crowd for the BDO, so it was nice to be close but not being crushed in the crowd.

Melbourne 2014, Melbourne 2018 both inside smaller arenas (Rod Laver tennis arena).

Wellington 2020 and Melbourne 2020.

Definitely agree that Adam does the songs justice while remaining humble enough to acknowledge that he's "just a fan trying to honour Freddie's memory".

Also worth it to see my guitar idol playing live.  I definitely didn't get the talent package when I got myself a Red Special replica.

I hope they tour again in a few years but I'm not holding my breath since Brian and Roger are now 75.  Touring a 2.5 hour concert is pretty full on.

Sounded fantastic where we were.  Much better than the U2 concert we wen to at Mt Smart recently, sound quality was awful where we were.
