Does anyone know a place that sells the 190 proof/95% bottle of everclear in nz? Or a site that would ship to NZ?

I think the strongest I have yet to see here in NZ is 40%, so doubt it will be allowed in. Could very well be classified as hard drugs, at least thats how it is where I am from. (Limit there is 60%).

Importing it won't be easy either, 95% is highly flammable and would not be allowed in on air freight.

We sell an Absinthe which is 89%. So there's really no way I could get it?

At 95% wouldn't you be better off just buying pure ethanol and mixing in a little flavouring?

I wouldn't bother. I can hit azeotrope on my reflux still and I can tell you that the best thing to do is water it back down to 80 proof and carbon filter it. Ethanol at that strength is just a gimmick, put it on your lips and they will get ulcers.

Just do what you were going to do, but 2.5 times more and you'll still have fun :-)
