Even asked if I took the mailbox down what would happen and they said they would hold it and deliver a notice to install a letterbox which I find bizzare.

I think it's a legal requirement that a residential property has a letterbox ???

There are quite a few houses in the Coromandel without letter boxes. They may be holiday homes but are comparable with the homes many kiwis live in. Marlborough Sounds has some residential properties only accessible by water, and probably don't have a letter box.

There are also rural properties where NZ Post doesn't deliver.

There is a difference between a street address, a property (land ownership), and a property address.

Idiotic headlines like this:

"Experts reveal what to eat to avoid the hangover from hell"

It's the alcohol, stupid...

Windows 10 'Express' Settings. No I DON'T want to automatically connect to random open wifi networks or let Microsoft use my computer as part of their Windows Update CDN!

The latest way Stuff has found to frustrate my reading of i.stuff.co.nz site on my smartphone - by preventing certain advertisements from allowing scrolling of the web page. You need to specifically touch outside the advertisement to get the screen to move. Not always easy on a small screen frown

When I go to take the final sip of my cup of coffee, and then to find it I have already finished it.

Back to Herald headlines:

"Air New Zealand Safest Airline!"

then in the first line:

"Air New Zealand has scored second in a list of airlines with the best safety record in 2016."

I was very pissed off when I bought a hard copy of the Herald last Sat morning after seeing a photo of Dame Valerie Adams on the cover with the advice "See page A6 for more New Years Honours" and on p A6 it said "Go to our website to see the full list". There was a story about Phil Goff getting a gong but no other names shown in print. Pathetic.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Then apparently there was a Hijacking a few years ago.

But safest airline?

Attempted, but I think she stabbed someone? She gets out in a few months, but wants to do it again.

And how can you be the 'safest' airline when you actually came second...?

Mother buys "band with magnetic technology that repels shark", boy gets bitten by shark, woman complains "I want my money back".

The dumb is strong. Not even linking to the tabloid, not worth giving page views to these folks.
