The builders ute that parked in a mobility park without a permit and the nearest place to park was a long way from my chemist. The result I was unable to pick up much needed medication.

DarthKermit:

I hope blakamin didn't die in the Aussie heatwave, like some wild horses apparently did. surprised

I doubt the wild horses were the only thing, but I hope he wasn't one of them.

We had one of those "died suddenly" euphemisms in the village last week so enough of that already.

Can you not note the number and make a formal complaint to the police? This kind of thing should not be tolerated.

I only had my cellphone in the car with me so I couldn't and I was unable to stop to take a photo.

You must have seen the name. Write a letter to the builder's company politely pointing out what this kind of thing does to people who actually need the space. If no-one says anything, noting will ever change.

I normally do, I have written to courier companies especially Fastway and NZ Couriers. Fastway didn't reply but NZ Couriers apologised and said they will talk with the contractor. The builder in this case was I believe a sole trader so writting to him/her would be a waste of time.

Maybe spray the name all over social media sites so we can all go tut tut at such thoughtless behaviour? Feel free to start here.

I will pass on that, don't want to start a war with someone in my own town.

That every single smoke alarm in the world, and there must be hundreds, has a mounting bracket that is completely incompatible with every other one. You would think there would be an odd one that would line up just by chance, but no.

That only dinky little round watermelons are available in New Zealand. Why should this be? You can get the big pod people-sized ones all over Australia and the USA, but here only the pathetic soccer ball ones. I know we are only a small country, but this is ridiculous.

I think this entirely depends on where you shop :P

I've been buying some pretty large ones out my way! Not people sized but they'd be approx 350mm x 250mm

Plus I cant get a 1.5m tube in the car without putting the roof down and its all stuffed at the moment.

edit: Of cource expecting an embed to work would be too much to ask. Ah well, click the link to see a flashing fluro tube.

Maybe people (i.e me) think they'll be like tomatoes, so the bigger they are the less taste they have.

The big ones at the Adelaide market have plenty of flavour. That is what I miss in ours.
