Why is spellchecking with Google so much better than spellchecking with my Android phone?

Anyone else have issues with messages not showing on the Lock Screen of iPhone. Mine are only showing in iMessage app and thus have missed a few.
Have checked all my notification settings. This seems to have happened after the latest IOS update.

And why does Chrome disable the spellchecker every time it upgrades?

My wife was cussing this eve that her iPhone has recently not giving alerts.
Nearly missed her brother's birthday...
Notifications have been working in the past ..
So your comment may explain why..

i missed another important notification yesterday and apologised to the person involved and they said their phone was also doing this and they also randomly saw the messages in the app not on the Lock Screen.

I got the following from Google

Google received a request to use stupid@gmail.com as a recovery email for Google Account stupide@gmail.com.

Use this code to finish setting up this recovery email:

17234

This code will expire in 24 hours.

If you don’t recognize stupide@gmail.com, you can safely ignore this email.

So basically they add an 'e' to the original email address of stupid@  It’s so easy to be fooled and not notice. I received 2 attempts yesterday. Makes me very nervous wondering what else they are trying to hack.

NB I made up the stupide email as an example and I see that it’s a valid address.

This is one for the joys of a sensible email address thread.

I get this a lot with my gmails as they are all good short ones.

I’m using seasoned wood, yet I get the odd log that pumps out sap which fills the wood burner with flame. So much so if you’re silly enough to open it the flame briefly spills out the front. Is that fairly normal?

How can I have youtube videos open with comments not visible somehow? Often I am watching highlights of some sport or another and the top comment, visible by default, will have the result or something indicating who won!

Reasonably normal, yes, you get jets of flame when the burning hits a pocket of sap that's been heated to a high temperature.

Google tells me it creates creosote.  I was wondering if the wood requires more seasoning but I suppose like anyone that has built a rudimentary wooden garden shed will know that some wood can leak sap for years.

If it is pine it is likely to be resin rather than sap. Last year i had a lot of old pine. This is what your flue can look like. Warning signs are bits of soot landing downwind.
