SomeoneSomewhere:

Don't we have 'this post was edited' warnings? I would suspect secret mod powers but I'm not sure if you're actually a mod.

I think you can see a warning if your post was edited; but no-one else does.

Correct.

Does anyone see the yellow in my post above??

Only the user and mods see the warnings. Other users don't see them.

Ah, no, I only see it on my own posts. You're right.

I assumed I was just more edit-happy than others and thought I'd seen it on a few other posts.

A flying vehicle of some form has flown over our building near Bunnings in Grey Lynn, twice. Just before 1pm.

Does anyone know what it was and what height it was at?

Felt like it was very low.

Yep it’s one of the outgoing Hercs - has twice flown very low over us in Mairangi Bay half an hour or so ago.

Edit: TBH I don’t know for sure if it was the old or new ones - was working outside and didn’t check on FR24.

We had three fly over us today.  It was a case of wow that's loud n low... and it kept getting louder still.  They were gone before I could run out to see them

Did you have to open windows on both sides of the house?

Above sea level. Minus around 150-200ft for Karangahape ridge.

If you're directly underneath I'd be watching out for parts falling off 🤕

What was the semi-popular app back in around I dunno, 2010ish where you could publish a message or a video for others in the area to view?  I think it ended up being primarily used by numbnuts showing off burnouts or other stupid antics

I'm surprised that there isn't some kind of CB radio type app where you could set a radius and listen for other peoples ramblings within it

https://www.thebloomerie.co.nz/product-page/devonport-chocolates-the-chocolate-selection ?  "The Bloomerie" seems to be based on Waiheke.

What’s happened to the HP probook series? The usual entry level models are gone

HP has changed their lineup and laptop branding, in early 2024.

"For commercial PCs, things aren't changing as much, since HP is keeping ProBook and EliteBook branding, also replacing 'Book' with 'Studio' or 'Desk' where appropriate. Tiers are 2 and 4 for ProBook, and 6, 8, X, and Ultra for EliteBook."

Also, 16” WUXGA seems to be the new 15.6” 1080p
