Do you think any of the ASB staff standing around talking to each other are being inconvenienced by my presence as a customer?

Apparently not. They seem to enjoy your presence and are quite happy to leave you standing there.

They're not "quite happy to leave you standing there", they're hoping you'll go away and stop disturbing the feng shui of their Banking Chamber, not to mention dropping dust & debris on their pristine carpet.
And they're not "standing around talking to each other", they're discussing how they can charge you some sort of fee that will dissuade you from coming back inside.

And it's not just ASB, each of the big Aussie four banks are just as bad as each other
😡

Does Iphone have a method by which it can scan a QR from the camera, that is being displayed by another app on the same device?

If so, how?

As far as I know, take a screen capture of the QR code and save it to photos.  Open the photos app, then long-press on the image of the QR code - it will open a menu (usually something like open in Safari).

Specify exact CPU model - an i5-2400M is pretty different to an i5-12400M. Core count and speed are nice too. Not sure if any of the Apple ones have a dedicated GPU, if so, exact model for that.

Good pictures of all sides including the ports.

Display size/resolution.

Clock speed is the GHz number, yes. it's become much less useful over the last decade as speeds ramp up and down based on temperature and load.

The model number tells you which generation the CPU is, amongst other things.  Even with the same clock speed and core count, a chip that's five years newer will be far better performing and probably have more cache. Apple makes it hard to find actual part numbers.

What’s the equivalent to *98 on Teams with call pickup groups?

Examples

you use a loud ringer to indicate an incoming call rather than having a bunch of phones all ringing in harmony for staff to answer by calling *98

You end a call while another call is coming in and because your phone isn’t ringing with everyone else’s as a result, you dial *98 to answer it

Your phone isn’t in the ringing hunt group but you’re in the pick up group. No one is answering the phones as they’re indisposed so you dial *98 on your own phone to help your team.

A colleagues phone is ringing but they’re not at their desk. Instead of picking up their phone and sharing scabies you dial *98 to answer their call from your own.

Immediately after the "big bang", space in its vicinity would have been impossibly hot. Eventually that would have cooled through a temperature suitable for life.

What if space itself was generally within the goldilocks zone?

And what if our universe is actually an electron that's part of an atom that's part of another universe  - and that universe is an electron that's part of yet another universe - ad infinitum ....

If you're talking about temperature-wise only, I guess it would make space travel slightly easier - but not a lot because you'd still have the vacuum to contend with plus the tyranny of distance.

When you get where you're going, there would be a hugely higher probability of life there - and we would likely have had visitors long ago.

i thought we’d given up on the idea of a big bang several decades ago?
