I probably did read it back when I got it, but since the filter almost never needs changing I'd long forgotten about it by now.

Also... it's a vaccum cleaner, on/off, cord in/out, what else is there to document?

The pre-fliter. Possibly the HEPA filter, depending on model. Given it's Nilfisk, the auto on/off when you store the wand on some models.

The only better part is doing a depth-first complete read through the settings and menus.

Last night, after reading something, our adult son sent me a text asking “What is the most expensive thing ever made? No Googling”. After a couple of clarifying texts to and fro, I guessed Great Wall of China or Manhattan Project.

He said ISS at USD160b. Then I asked ChatGPT (yes, I know …) to estimate the total number of hotel-style person-nights spent on ISS. I got an answer of 53,000.

That equates to about USD3m/person/night.

This is pretty dependent on your definition of a 'thing'.

IIRC 'The interstate highway network' is pretty high up there if you count it as a single programme (~$618b in 2023 money); the same with something like the F35 project (~$2t).

I'd demand an in-room spa pool and a full-size snooker table for that sort of cash.

Thanks for explaining "plethora".

It means a lot.

Yep - and the shuttle-driver’s tip is a killer on a per-km basis. Apparently the cuisine isn’t great.

I knew the Manhattan Project was massive but I was getting somewhat muddled between the cost and the total number of people involved. The former is estimated to be USD35b (in current dollars)  - latter est to be 130,000.

I did learn some stuff by playing Civilization off and on over some decades - but not quite enough it seems.

Is there still a way for the general public to search the RSM spectrum database (without having to register with them)?
