Huge Iron Maiden fan here!
Saw them live in Chch in Feb last year (2009). They are simply epic live! The stage set up they had was wicked.
A mate and I drove through the Timaru flooding to Chch all the way from Dunners to get there. Nearly didn't make it due to the big puddles. Was totally worth it.
We also stopped by Chch airport the next day to see Ed-Force One. Hell yeah!!!

If you have Blu-ray (you can get it on DVD too, but it's not as good ;) ), check out the Flight 666 movie/doco. It's awesome.

Bruce is such a legend! He is a Rock god, and also a commercial airline pilot. Maximum respect!

Wife and I went to see them last time they were in Auckland, wife is more a fan than I am but was a great concert.

We saw the Flight 666 doco at the movies, was amazing, like being at the concert all over again :D Have it on DVD as it was cheap cheap the other week at Warehouse....

I saw them when they played the Logan Campbell Centre in AUckland many a years ago it was awesome. I would even go so far as to say 2nd best concert I have ever seen behind The Who in Auckland last year.

I am jealous now hmmph.

I see they're playing at Soundwave in Australia as well, I'm very keen for that.

Huge fan as well.  Brought my first Maiden album back in 1980 and have been hooked ever since.  Saw them for the first time in Auckland last year and had a great time.  Absolutely brilliant stage show!!

One of my favourite bands EVER. Been into them since I was five years old (32 now).

Favourite (well, most played) albums in my collection = Killers, Powerslave, Number of the Beast and Piece of Mind.

And my old band supported them! D'oh! Way to quit a band who is on the up & up!

My very metal Doctor Who theme
