Jaxson: Misfits has been good, with the new guy doing quite well actually given he had big boots to fill.

Yeah. I hated Nathan at first - just because he was so horrible, but he grew on me, so I missed him at first. The new guy is ten times more horrible and more feral and perverted too... but he's funny, nay, he's hilarious!

The only thing I can complain about really, and this is nitpicking, but the way it's filmed. There's this extreme bokeh that is trendy in photography. I'm not sure it translates so well on TV. I'm all for using focus to draw our attention across the screen but it's really over the top on Misfits.

+1 for person of interest, I also really enjoyed Homeland. Have been watching falling sky's too which is pretty cool.

I thought the pilot of Touch was a good watch. Looking forward to episode 2 this friday. Homeland was AWESOME! Had that '24' feel to it (which I miss sooo bad). Been watching Alcatraz, which is watchable, but I have a feeling it's not gonna last.

And although it's not new, season 2 of Walking Dead was amazing!

Looking forward to the return of Game of Thrones too.

I have been certainly waiting for Alcatraz to pickup, It does seem to be moving a little slowly and they seem to be avoiding the Sci-Fi side of it for now which is a pity.

Homeland was alright but I kinda expected something quicker and a lot more entertaining from Damian Lewis after watching Life, I do see the similarities with 24 but it Homeland was rather boring in the start and hasn't picked up as much as it could have.

The pilot of Touch looked very interesting and its nice to see its likely to be nice and action packed.

Person of Interest is awesome and a great concept, Very well done.

The Walking Dead seems to be better than mos things Zombie related but seems to have become a lot more mindless chatting with characters that I wish would die (See every female in the series)

I'll admit, there have been a couple of episodes packed with too much dialogue on the Walking Dead. But man, the more suspense filled episodes (especially the last few of season 2), had scenes which literally made my jaw drop! A lot of unexpected 'events'.

And yeah, Damian Lewis is cool. I thought Life was a good show, but enjoyed Homeland a lot more. Looking forward to season 2.

Never got in to Person of Interest though. Watched the first couple, but didn't care for it. Seems to be popular. I know of a lot of people who like it.

My favs are:

Breakout Kings - it's into season two now and still just as good as ever.
Breaking in - cheesy and predicatble, but heaps of geek references to keep me happy
Touch - First episode was waaaaay better than i thought
New Girl - is pretty funny
Sherlock - is just freakin awesome!!!

plus heaps more depending on my mood :)

Oh, and have just discovered Leverage (not sure how i had missed it previously). Really enjoying this.

I'm awaiting a lot of the same ones others are, Dexter in September should be good.

But I'm with Paul. Nothing compares to Breaking Bad at the moment. Season 3 when Hank gets shot by the two mexican hitmen, was one of the most heart stopping moments of all time on TV. Breaking Bad comes seriously close to The Wire, in terms of one of the best TV series of all time!

I love Breaking Bad I agree it is one of the best shows ever for me. I weened on to it by watching Weeds which has not been that good the last few seasons.

Homeland I watched the finale last night and it was good and the end few episodes done a great job of keeping you interested to know if he was or wasn't truly a bad guy.

Person of Interest takes 6 or so epidsodes before it actually gets a story other than out comes a number he saves or stops them I feel it took to long to find a sub plot to actually help the show progress with a purpose and not end up a very fast same sh*t different episode. Overall though still mostly good to watch.

Other shows already mentioned Grimm I like but stopped watching Once Upon a Time after a few episodes although will certainly finish off soon.

The Walking Dead first half of the season was very drawn out but the latter half just gets better and better the further it goes along with the last few episodes being fantastic (2nd to last is probably the best).

Misfits I would have never thought to have mentioned as for me I finished watching the latest season a long time ago and as mentioned above Nathan's replacement has done a very good job and certainly had big boots to fill.

Watched first season of Sherlock too love the show, the acting, the dialogue and the episode length shame as mentioned only 3 episodes per season....roll on season 3.

Looking forward to Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and Dexter and have only recently started watching The Wire finished off the first season and I've been hooked just four more seasons to go. So many shows so little time I'm actively watching over a dozen TV shows at the moment (or at least within the last month.

Worst part of that is that it sounds like there's a couple of new ones I need to check out now too will give them the 3 episode tryout (as in if it can't hook me within 3 episodes then it ain't gonna).

Lastly I have to ask is it just me or is the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter and it's live concept rather terrible???

Oh man, forgot completely about Misfits. Agree with you completely on the guy filling Nathans shoes. I've almost grown to prefer his character to Nathans!

With the Wire, you have to be patient, season 2 is probably the slowest, but it ramps up in season 3-4, with the grand finale in season 5. So many twists, and turns in the last few seasons. They happen so fast!

Getting ahead of myself here, it's a long way off yet, but there's a Doctor Who Season 7 teaser out!
