Check the Chorus site to see if you are in a VDSL area. It will show up as the >20Mb/s layer.

Hello Keriboi,

We do not have information on Cabinets and Exchanges as this is confidential and is available only with the Chorus technical groups.

Or just drive round your neighbourhood and look for it on the footpath, but be careful not to crash your car into it.

Or to anybody working in the industry (which would include multiple staff members at every ISP) that have a CCM login.

I had a look at that spreadsheet, and the cabinet down the road from me isnt on there. I believe it is called "KRI/N"

KRI/N is just a Copper Cross Connect Cabinet (No Electronics) - It is approx 1.2Km (cable Length) from KRI exch so is too far for VDSL  ( UFB is on the long term plan but not in the next 3 yrs)

Doesn't list the NBO exchange, just all the cabinets. I've a pretty good guess where it is though.

What gear does chorus need to put in place for VDSL to be available? How likely would this gear be put in place before a fibre upgrade is done?
