Not counting speed tests but on something like a torrent file. I'm on Orcon 30/10 plan and I'd love to hear what other UFB users speeds are like.

This is what I get from my work desktop to the local speed test server (but I am in Wellington and the server is in Auckland)

Damn that's quick personally about 210 would be my quickest (180 clock wound around to 0kph) on a Mazda Rx7 (erther that or my older Mazda 808 actually more inclined to think it was the 808 as don't think I had the Rx until later on lol) in a race from Levin to Waikanae (took less than 15 mins) many many years ago when I was at that young and invincible stage in my life.  Now I'd never go anything like that unless on a racetrack or somewhere like the Autobahn (which is sadly a unliikely scenario for either of those).

As for broadband speedsprobably between 7 - 8 Mbps on standard ADSL.  Downloads to my seedbox have hit about 10x or more this speed I remember seeing 20+ gig downloads completing in less than 10 mins....If only I could afford those speeds home to my pc I'd be rather happy.

A well seeded torrent will max out my Snap 30/10 connection. A single download thread/connection is highly variable.

I was getting 2-3 Mbit/s on my Compass Wireless connection. Finally ADSL came to us in Pukekohe RD2 last night. 16 Mbit/s now :) I was sooooo excited about that last night :)

Ok I'm downloading a torrent file and it says I'm getting 2.9MB/s is that how fast it should be on the 30/10 plan?

Just multiply by 8 so thats 23.2 Mbit/s and your plan has a max of 30.

Love it!

I took off at a small bridge over a railway line and the dude in a Beamer dragged me, WTF... Was at 110 at the top of it, 2nd gear. Annoyed as, but fun!

Great. Fastest I've ever seen was 3.1 MB/s so I guess I'm getting good speeds for the plan I'm on.
