Have you heard of Wigle.net? While they are primarily focused on crowd sourced Wi-Fi network locations, they do record cell towers as well. Maybe you can do a data sharing agreement with them?

Please post similar links to the ones for Panmure, Mount Wellington, Point England and Glen Innes, or any others in this area.

@DarthKermit afaik there's been an API level bump on Google Maps Fusion Tables layers which have caused havoc with some of the formatting I was using on the legacy site. I haven't done any development on that in ~2 years. All of the work going forward is happening on https://beta.gis.geek.nz if you want an idea of how the site works.

The Chorus layer was pretty basic. Name of cabinet, if it was fibre fed or not, and the date it was commissioned. Essentially the same data from the link in my first post. As it mentions the exchange it's linked back too I thought it might be nice to provide that detail as well.

The reason for posting this thread in the first place was I was spending time coding up the layer in the new interface and thought "I'd really like a list of exchanges to go here as well" - Appreciate all the replies from people with info! I do want to get to a stage where I can accept user submitted info, might have to accelerate that plan.

@stubbed here is a list with a significant number of exchanges at time of Telecom / Chorus separation. Unfortunately not an easy to extrapolate list, but hopefully of some help.

Edit: there is a PDF on this site, which actually converts nicely into Excel, so PM me if you want the Excel sheet.
